Temperature Sensors

MesoScribe offers an extensive suite of conformal thermocouples for integrated temperature sensing up to 2500°F, based on NIST standard (Type E, K, and N) and noble metal thermoelectric materials. New ceramic oxide thermocouples are under development for component health monitoring up to 3000°F.
Key Features
- Cost-effective, non-intrusive implementation over large areas (>1m2)
- Long term survivability in high temperature, corrosive environments
- Compatibility with conventional thermocouple instrumentations
- Customized calibration polynomials available for improved accuracy
- Harsh environment lead-wire routing and interconnects
Using the patented Direct Write process, sensors can be routed directly onto components to provide an accurate measure of component temperature. Thermocouples can also be embedded within thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) and thermal protection systems (TPSs) for integrated temperature sensing and coating diagnostics. Thermocouple selection is flexible, and driven by application requirements such as temperature range and exposure time.
